What this policy needs to cover
A finished version of this page should describe, in plain language, at minimum:
- What plant production data (heat records, logsheet entries) SmeltSync stores, and that it stays in the plant's own database, as stated on the FAQ page.
- What website data is collected from visitors — form submissions (name, plant name, phone number, capacity) via the pilot request form, and any analytics in use.
- Who can access plant data (role-based logins, admin-verified entries) and how backups are handled.
- Whether any data is shared with third parties (e.g. the form-handling or analytics provider), and under what terms.
- How a plant or website visitor can request their data be exported or deleted.
- A contact point for privacy questions.
